Damiana has its home in the desert, and has traditionally been sought after for its relaxing and simultaneously stimulating effect on the senses - a beloved aphrodisiac. The sumptuous Roses from this past particularly generous season in our garden bring their lovely scent, along with their anti-inflammatory qualities. Add the soft notes of Cacao from the cocoa butter in this formula, and this balm is truly yummy.
Makes for a fantastic self-massage unguent. We sourced a beautiful Organic olive oil from several small farms near Nevada City, CA for this balm, and it penetrates the skin for deep nourishment. Smooth onto moisture-hungry skin after a shower to encourage even deeper absorption. Lovely as a personal lubricant! (please keep in mind that it is not water-based).
